  • You may qualify to volunteer in the E3 study if you: 

    1. Live in Cook County, Illinois
    2. Are 40-64 years of age
    3. Identify as: Hispanic/Latino/Latina, African American or Black, or White
    4. Own a smartphone

  • If you take part in this study, you will:

      • Complete short phone-based surveys through an app for 14 days
      • Wear a small GPS and activity monitor on a belt for 21 days
      • Complete a 20-30 minute online survey about your eating on 3 days
      • Complete two video interviews (90-120 minutes each)

     

You may earn up to $275 for your time.
The study is being carried out with other researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Northwestern University. We want to better understand how your daily life, including how you feel and what you experience, affects your eating and physical activity.
